The Grace has a strict no B.Y.O. policy.
You can arrange a tab to the value of your choice to be placed on the bar, and throughout the evening we can give you a running tally as well as notifying you when you are near your tab total.
Or if you’d prefer, a full cash bar will be available for your guests to pay for their own drinks.

Bands and DJ’s are more than welcome to play. We can also organize our own in house bands and DJ’s if you prefer. You will need to consult with management before engaging a band. A sound check must be done prior to the commencement of your event.
Equipment can only be delivered and collected during times agreed to by The Grace Darling Management
All rooms have independent entertainment systems and provisions for live music.

Minimum Spends Apply - Contact Event Manager
Where the room is hired as a private function a $200 deposit must be made.
Where the room is still open to the public (bookings less than 20 people) a $100 deposit is required.
If you wish to hire the room exclusively and have less than 20 people a minimum spend will apply
Upstairs Function Room
A 30% deposit must be made to confirm your booking.
On the day of the event, before or on arrival the balance must be paid (unless there will be a tab running). We provide P.A, D.J. equipment, lights, mixing desk. Please enquire as to specifics.
Our licence requires us to have security with live music. This is an additional cost of $200 to the client.
Sunday to Thursday - $2500 minimum spend
Friday and Saturday - $5000 minimum spend
100-150 Capacity Standing
Payments can be made by credit card, cash, bank cheque or direct debit. Payments can only be made with an authorised person (restaurant, function or venue manager) Credit card payments can be made over the phone if required.
Tentative Bookings & Deposits
We are able to hold a date tentatively for a period of 2 days, after which time if verbal or email confirmation has not been received the date will be released.
Once you have advised your intention to confirm, a deposit is required for all events and is inclusive of G.S.T.
The Grace does not charge for room hire however minimum spend requirements do apply.
- Sunday to Thursday - $1500 minimum spend
- Friday and Saturday - $2500 minimum spend
Standing capacity 80 pax Seating capacity 30 pax on a single table (please advise if you require a larger number on multiple tables)
The above charges are what you are required to spend on the night of your event. The amount can be spent on food and beverages, or beverages alone. It can be spent as a bar tab or individual consumption.
As long as these minimums are met there is no extra charge. If you do not reach these minimums you will be required to pay the balance.
All cancellations must be made by calling the functions manager. Where the client;
- Cancels a booking 14 days prior to the function, the deposit is refundable.
- Cancels a booking between 7 and 14 days prior to the day of function, the client shall forfeit 50% of the deposit.
- Cancels a booking 7 days or less prior to the day of function, the client shall forfeit the entire deposit.
Any guests under 18 must leave the premises before 10pm regardless of parental supervision.
No 18th, 21st, buck’s or hen’s nights
No sexually explicit entertainment
No disruptive behaviour
